The Story of Serranos

Serranos Salsa Company serves up a unique array of tastes from all over Latin America and has been a favorite of foodies who frequent the I-10 corridor since our first location opened in Baton Rouge in 1999 followed by the Metairie location in 2002. The team at this homegrown concept set its sites high when they created the idea for the first Latin American hot spot. Serranos Salsa Company describes their take on Latin Favorites infused with fresh homegrown produce and seafood as a labor of love. All items are made fresh in each restaurant’s kitchen with the aforementioned local ingredients. Plus, the owners continually renew their commitment to local businesses when they insist on using local architects, interior designers, and artists. Serranos is also known for the largest selection of tequilas and rums on the Gulf Coast. With Serranos' trendsetting food concepts and a slew of awards as proof, these Louisiana-bred restaurateurs work every day to make good on the cheeky promise made by the company’s ads – Next Stop World Domination. At least when it comes to the food world, they're doing their best to make sure this promise is kept.
